Yves Saint Laurent Question-- Regarding Coat?
To make a long story short, I saw this beautiful YSL Coat in a magazine about a long time ago; maybe a year or so. I don't know if it was a fall, spring or winter collection but it was a long coat, with the inside as black. The outter part was a mix of purples, blues and blacks. Kinda like when you see spilled oil and it reflects purple-ish colors. Anyone have a pic or link or name for it? Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat - Which Shade?
I'm interested in buying the famed Radiant Touch product in order to conceal the dark circles under my eyes. I won't have much time to spend away from the computer and call a department store, much less go to one, so I hope someone here can give me a heads up.
I am mixed, so my skin is kind of in between. It's slightly darker than tan, but not quite. This is a small cropped photo of what my skin color normally looks like: http://i9.tinypic.com/4i27jbm.jpg
I'm thinking that the #3 shade is my only choice, but I'm worried if it's just too dark? At times, my facial complexion can be pretty fair, and lighting conditions are a pain to adjust to (I don't know if fairer-skinned people have this same problem or not)... #2 seems too light, and there isn't a darker one to choose from. I'm worried that #3 is too dark as it is.

whadu all you makeup lovers think of it-i saw it has alot of colors but is it worth THIRTY dollars? your input please! thank you!|||if you are a mascara lover and wear it on a daily basis, and like your lashes to be full long and black and just really dramatic and pretty my answer is a definite YES, it is a great mascara and worth 30 dollars if youll use it everyday. but i suggest only getting it if youll use it everyday, because if you wont, its not worth buying something that has such a short usage (3 months), so if you wont use the macara everday i dont reccomend buying it, spend the thirty dollars on the perfect concealer or skincare items, (two things that are better when bought good quality)
so overall, Faux Cils is an amazing mascara, and i really does look like false lashes, but only buy it if you like super black dramatic lashes, and will use it everyday

Whats to best alternative to yves saint laurent touche eclat?
I have lived with Touche Eclat for years and then went on a Clinique spending spree. 拢15 airbrush concealer, so much better. it is a better colour, is lighter in texture so doesn't drag your skin, blends better and reduces puffiness as well as reflecting light. And cheaper!|||never growing old in neverland with Peter...|||Loreal have a similar concealer product - unfortunately I cant remember the name of it now !|||Virgin Vie do a good one aswell|||I used to work as a makeup artist for a couple of different lines and my favorite was laura mercier's secret brightening pen--it is in a twisty-like pen like the touche-eclat, but instead of just a concealer, it has a shimmery reflective substance that makes your under eyes look brighter. It can also be used to add a little glow or highlight above the brows, on the cheekbones or the nose. I love this stuff and I think it looks way more natural than touche eclat. Some suggest putting the secret brightening powder over it but I think it's an unneccesary step. Good luck!

Anyone tried Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch Highlighter)? Any good?
I'm looking for a really good under-eye/ blemish concealer. Is this one worth the price?|||Touche Eclat is not a concealer, so it won't cover your blemishes, but I find it works really, really well to lighten my dark circles. I also use it to highlight the center of my nose to make it look thinner, my cheekbones to make them look higher, and my lips to make them look fuller. What it's supposed to do (highlight) it does excellently.
For a more general concealer, I highly recommend Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage. It's very thick, so it covers blemishes well, and each comes with two colors to blend and match your skin perfectly. It also works well under your eyes (though if you have drier skin, it's best to mix it with eye cream).|||I received this for free a few years ago, when I was 13 or 14, and had no idea what it's purpose was. So I checked out a Yves Saint Laurent counter at Barneys, and the ladies laughed at me and said I was too young to be using it, so I shoved it away. Recently, I re-discovered it, found that it still worked, and tried to use to as a concealer for any blemishes, only to find that it made them even more noticeable. I went to the Barneys counter again, and actually learned that it is meant to be a highlighter, not a concealer. So if you have extremely bad dark circles, it's NOT the product for you. Mild dark circles and small discolorations, I'm sure it'll be wonderful. I just apply it to the bridge of the nose, corner of my eyes, and the top of my brow bones to get a glowy effect. It looks great in pictures and people always comment on my luminous skin when I wear it.
So, if you're looking for a miracle concealer, don't waste your money. It does have cute packaging and I like the smell, but the brush tip can get filled with bacteria quickly. As a highlighter, it's wonderful and makes your face look amazing, but it's not really necessary, on a day-to-day basis.|||I have not tried YSL but if are willing to look into other high end brands, do try Lancome photogenic skin luminating concealer. I am a m.a.c loyalist but this has got to be the one of the best concealer I have tried and trust me, I have tried many many many types.
The lancome concealer goes on from cream to powder like finish upon application. It also contains spf 15 and you dont need to use a lot to conceal. Just a touch and it conceals the darkest of spots.

I am a m.a.c loyalist but this has got to be the one of the best concealer I have tried and trust me, I have tried many many many types.
The lancome concealer goes on from cream to powder like finish upon application. It also contains spf 15 and you dont need to use a lot to conceal. Just a touch and it conceals the darkest of spots.

which one is better?|||Definitely Estee Launder. Their perfumes %26amp; make up is much better. But personally I prefer Max Factor in make up. Opinions? i've been thinking alot about buying it lately...i'm looking for a lipstick that looks almost concealer looking,a very light pink lipstick...is this the lipstick for me?

Usually, they smell mostly the same, but the Eau de Parfum will smell stronger, and sometimes the stronger notes come through more in the Parfum. But they're still the same basic scent.|||Depend on where you buy them one of them might be fake, though not sure which one. I think it's the perfume one.

I don't have a store near me that sells it, i have very fair skin and they only have 4 shades to pick from, does anybody know if luminous radiance would be fine, or if ivory is too dark for fair skin? thank you!|||you generally want a concealer thats lighter than your skin so go with the luminous radiance. if its TOO light, add a dab of your foundation to it when you're rubbing in. always works.
btw: that tip works if you tan, too.|||Luminous radiance is the color the folks at YSL suggest as a highlight for all skin tones, so if it doesn't work perfectly as a concealer you can use it to highlight your cheekbones, browbones, and the corners of your eyes.

has anyone ever tried it? does it work nicely? i want to buy it and im going shopping next weekend but i wanted to know if it was good first. it was an oprah o-ward so i guess it's good but i want some opinions.|||i have the pop stick blush in strawberry/raspberry and i love it! there are two other colours (vanilla/chocolate and peach/black currant). the strawberry/raspberry one is my favorite, and can be worn by anyone. it looks great when i have a tan and great when i havent.
the colours swirl together quite nicely during application, and it is such a creamy, silky texture. i am not usually a fan of cream blushes, but I think ysl has converted me. it stays well on my cheeks throughout the day, and it dries quickly. it is fairly shimmery, which will make cheeks look fresh, dewy, and faintly blushed. i love it and would definately reccomend it to you.

I'm trying to decide which cologne to buy I like both, the vintage a little bit more, but I asked my friends and they couldn't help, 2 liked YSL and 2 including me for vintage.|||That's a tough choice, because they both are really good. I feel like Vintage is better in it;s own right, but it's a lot less versatile. It's a lot better in certain situations like classy dates or formal events. I also feel that YSL is going to be like by more people. Not to say Vintage isn't going to be like, but YSL appeals to the masses more. It is OK... But keep in mind that every perfume smells different in different skins. On its own I think it is made for younger girls. It is kinda seductive but I wouldn't wear it on a warm day.

I found this Yves Saint Laurent shirt for USD$29.99 (I'm Canadian, but it doesn't matter). I really want to buy it and I'm amazed at how cheap it is. The thing is it's on eBay. I'm not big on online shopping, mostly due to credit card security issues and stuff. Secondly you don't know who's the seller, can't see what they're selling to see if this is legitimate nor if its real. Its shady to me. But lot's of people do it of course, and the guy who is selling has a 100% positive feedback rating and everyone has commented on his fast shipping and good quality. Still, you never know about PayPal etc. Can someone explain to me how eBay and PayPal work and if I should I buy this shirt. Thanks So Much|||if u want the shirt buy it.

Is Yves Saint Laurent a brand for young people?
I am 23 and now studying in grad school. I am planning on getting a new pair of glasses and I saw this perfect perfect Yves Saint Laurent glasses in a store. I want to buy them, but i am worrying that other people may think YSL might be too mature for me.(or even worse think i am some shallow girl whose only care is brand) The glasses are just perfect for me and the logo is hardly noticeable. Should i buy them? Is Yves Saint Laurent a brand for young people?|||No its not, it is definitely a mature 30-40ish brand. But the perfect sunglasses are hard to find, if they fit and you like them, you should buy them. My wife really wanted these Dolce %26amp; Gabanna sunglasses but when she tried them on they did not frame her face properly.
She ended up buying the Versaci sunglasses instead. They were the look she wanted and fit properly. She was still a little bummed because she wanted the D%26amp;G brand but fit and comfort was more important than the perfect brand. Its not like she was getting target sunglasses!.

Yves Saint Laurent Touch Eclat Concealer?
I have some acne scars on my cheeks, a few odd blemishes, and not too bad of undereye circles (I also wear contact lens and have very sensitive eyes). For all those who have tried this concealer, what is your take on it? It's suppose to go on really sheer and light, and "blend" your imperfections and highlight any areas of darkness. But, however, I also heard that it contains mineral oil which I am concerned will make me breakout . As well, do you suggest another type of concealer - one that may not be as pricey as YSL

There are a lot of different ones, be specific and post up a picture. YSL doesn't design just one, there are many different designs with the same templates, etc.
But stores will have copies soon enough, if the fashion fits and a mass number of people like it. It may not be the same style, but it will look similar. If it doesn't hit it big with the mass public, then stores won't recreate it (like Walmart- they didn't sell skinnies a few years back, but they do now, I think.)

I have really bad under eye circles.I have about 100 concelars from CVS and not one of them works that good.My dark circrles are hereditary,but I head that yves saint laurent, touche eclat is good at covering them up,but then I heard its not a concealer.I dont want to waste 40$ on it and not have it help.So if its not a concealer than how does it work?

I would say though, make sure you clean the brush thoroughly after each use (tissue or a wetone), as i didn't once and went back after a month to use it and it smelt weird

Which one is better?|||Lancome teint miracle. I like this foundation. The coverage is light to medium (but you should put several layers to make medium). I use a sponge and cover mostly my red spots and acne. I also use it as an undereye consealer and it doesn't dry out my skin. (I even think about using it as a onsealer and buy another foundation for the rest of my face) I have a combination skin and with this foundation on my t zone is oily within several hours but I stil like it a lot because my skin looks amazing and fresh I just have to blot a lot. Ok so I got my husband an Yves Saint Laurent shirt as a gift and I know it's authentic because I bought it in a store and it was quite expensive but it says it was Made in Malaysia. I recently bought 100ml of Live Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent and i must admit that it is pure crap.
It cost me 拢40 and the smell only lasts for around 20 min and then wares off.

I prefer Viva La Juicy, but they're both different... Parisienne is a sweet floral, and Viva La Juicy is a sweet fruity candy perfume. I am purchasing a YSL handbag off of Ebay. It comes with tags, duster, Certificate of Authenticity, etc. BUT, I've also heard of people duplicating these things. Ok I could LIVE without it but I wouldn't leave the house! I LOVE touche eclat!!! Its light so it can go on over make up without becoming at all cakey or funky. It blends perfectly on bare skin or over day-old make up so you never have that thick undereye concealer gunk. Mid-day when you're eye liner and mascara have started to kind of run and make your eyes just look not quite like they did when you put on your make up, you can touch up with this and you are instantly brighter and cleaned up and fresh! It really opens up your eyes. It won't hide true wrinkles, but it is awesome for brightening up dark areas or distracting from areas that are not yet deep lines. LOVE IT!!|||debbi256

I like their lipglosses, as they are really shimmery. Their lipsticks are very elegant aswell, and long lasting. I dont use their concealer, as they dont sell my shade, as i have medium brown skin.
AS for georgio armani, i dont rate their makeup too much, i have their lipliners and lipsticks, and they are fairly nice, but their lipglosses are awful, they get really sticky and are not very shiny. I have not tried their other products, as i tend to buy makeup from Dior, lancome, mac, chanel and bobbi brown more!|||YSL products are great

After reading several reviews it has came down to these two colognes. jean paul gaultier le male and yves saint laurent l'homme.|||Between those two colognes I would go with L'homme just because it has more of a difference from other colognes. Le Male is a great cologne, don't get me wrong, but there are a lot of vanilla based fragrances out there. Also on the bottom notes of Le Male all I really smell is vanilla and to me vanilla by itself isn't that appealing.|||You need to put some on each arm. One on the right and one on the left. After an hour, smell them and see which one you like better.

How is the coverage and the staying power? Do u like it? |||If you want your makeup to last you should use a primer. Within any brand you have to choose the right foundation for type of coverage you want. It's not just about the name of the brand. My sister has used Mercier products for years, and loves it. She chose it because the color match was perfect. I can it looks great on her, but didn't work for me.|||YSL is the best.

How much would a yves saint laurent blazer go for on ebay?
i have a genuine mans blazer from the 80's (grandads) its navy with gold ysl buttons on it and a red ysl lining.
if i sold it on ebay, do you think i would get anything for it? and if so, what reserve and starting price should i start it at?|||I'm guessing it won't fetch too much in these economic climate.

Is Yves Saint Laurent Touche 脡clat good for teens ?
I'm 14 and I have under eye circles, is Yves saint laurent good for my skin ? and will it cover up ?

They're the worst!|||You're only 14, adults use Yves Saint Laurent products. I mean, perfume's fine. But don't smear some chemical crap on your face. I'm pretty sure it doesn't even work.|||It all depends on how bad your under eye circles are. I'm 14 too and mine are fairly dark purple shade. I bought this a few months back in the hope that it would cover them completely, since it cost me a lot of money! I found that it covered spots and blemishes perfectly and lasted all day, but for under my eyes, it didn't really do anything. I had to apply about 3 layers and then set it with a powder just to see a slight change. And, since I had to put so much on, it ended up looking really cakey. Concealers usually have a slightly yellowish tone to them, as this helps to even out discolouration, but I found it to be quite pink.
Pros:
*Covers spots and blemishes really well.
*Doesn't go orange.
*Lasts all day.
Cons:
*Very expensive.
*Doesn't cover under eye circles very well.
*Pinkish colour.
*Doesn't last long either (since you have to put quite a lot on to see any change)
So, overall, I wouldn't recommend buying it unless your under eye circles aren't really that bad or you're going to use it on acne.

Does anyone know how Yves Saint Laurent Fits?
It's a plain t-shirt, if my brother wears like a large in any other brand like Lacoste or a plain t-shirt, do you think it would be an XL in Yves Saint Laurent? Because it seems European lines run a tad bit smaller.|||My experience has been that they run pretty much to size. The Yves Saint Laurent is a pretty good shirt, which is made of 100% cotton. The material seems to be durable and the t-shirt seems to last quite a long time. I especially like the ides that it does not fade as fast as other shirts.
One thing I do not like about the Yves Saint Laurent shirts is that they are extremely expensive. For the money they costs, I prefer to buy the Gucci shirts. And more than the Yves Saint Laurent shirts, I like their purses!
